Zohran Mamdani Vows a 'Dawn' for New York City in Inaugural Address
During an first day in office, Zohran Mamdani pledged to “reimagine” the metropolis, declaring “a different age” and an ambitious start to his term.
A Historic Mayor
The young political star, who just a year ago remained a relatively obscure state assemblyman, has become the city's first Muslim mayor. He also made history by being the first to be take the oath of office using the Qur'an.
