Tracking the Venezuela-linked Tanker 'Pursued' by the US Coast Guard

A uniquely yellow-colored apartment block in the background assisted us verify the video.
We are analyzing video footage and photographs shared earlier today that show the aftermath of a reported vehicle-borne explosive blast that authorities in Russia say killed a senior soldier in Moscow.
Russian authorities stated that Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov was in the vehicle that detonated and that he later died to his wounds. An investigation is currently ongoing.
Our starting point to check the site from which the images originated relied on social media reports saying the explosion happened on Yasenevaya Street in the southern part of the capital city of Russia.
We used street-view imagery on digital map platforms and the Russian search engine Yandex Maps to corroborate the unique yellow hue of a adjacent residential complex captured in the video.
Identifying other buildings, lamp-posts and the road configuration confirmed the exact location the pictures were captured.
Additionally, we verified that the video clips were recent and that the visuals had not been digital alteration.
