The Gunners' boss feels assured that his side can continue to cope with fitness issues after disclosing that star striker Kai Havertz remains out for a few more weeks.

Extended Absence for German Star

The Germany international has been sidelined since the summer after undergoing an operation on his knee. Hoped to come back earlier in December, the manager stated the player faced a hurdle when advancing his training and could not progress “the required stage.”

“Our experience helped us build a team that is much more reliable and has more options,” Arteta said.

Arteta expressed his keenness to welcome him back. “The team is keen to have him. Honestly, he is a footballer who, personally, I admire greatly for the qualities he offers to the team, but his mentality, his personality. I watch him struggle while sidelined.”
