Iranian Forces State Attack on US Base in Bahrain, Amid Widespread Retaliatory Strikes.
Tehran reports attacking a US naval base in Bahrain, as Iran launched operations across the region in response for a significant and ongoing offensive against it by the United States and Israeli forces.
Large columns of dark smoke were observed billowing from an area near the command center of the American Fifth Fleet in Bahrain's capital, Manama. The scope of any damage is uncertain and the US has yet to issue a statement.
Regional Interceptions
Elsewhere across the region, the UAE, the State of Qatar and Kuwait - which all house American military installations - stated they have intercepted incoming projectiles in their airspace.
In Doha, Qatar's defence ministry announced it had intercepted a number of projectiles seemingly aimed at the Al Udeid Air Base, the largest American base in the region.
IRGC Statement
Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a statement it was targeting American facilities and interests as part of operation "Truthful Promise 4", in response for the offensive on the Islamic Republic carried out by the US and Israel on Saturday morning.
That US-Israeli operation - initiated at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far struck areas linked to the Tehran's leadership, with President Trump encouraging the people of Iran to revolt against the leadership.

In the State of Israel, air raid sirens sounded across the country after the Israeli military reported it had detected an barrage of missiles from Iran.
The Ministry of Defence of the UAE stated that the nation has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"UAE air defence systems responded to the projectiles with great effectiveness and shot down a number of missiles," the statement continued.
It said wreckage fell on a neighborhood in the capital, causing some property damage and the death of one civilian.
The US Air Force operates from the Al Dhafra base, south of the Emirati capital, along with the UAE Air Force.
