Helicopter Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Groves at Well-Known Southern California Beach
A helicopter soaring over a popular southern California beach suddenly began spiraling out of control, ultimately losing altitude and crashing into a row of palm trees as beachgoers watched.
Recordings shared on the internet depict the chopper beginning to twirl over the shoreline then descending near the border of the shore, where it ends up lodged between palm trees and a steps adjacent to the coastal road.
First Aid Details
Local firefighters stated five persons were rushed to the hospital including two who were in the helicopter and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the incident on the weekend.
Three persons on the road were injured. Specifics on their condition were not yet released.
