Football Analyst Sutton Faces Off Against Singer Olly Murs in Top Flight Forecasts
Arsenal's 10-game winning streak came to an end by the Black Cats before the global hiatus, however will the English top division leaders recover against local foes Spurs this Sunday?
"{I feel like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," stated soccer expert Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will try to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating finest this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's side usually still find a way to win."
The analyst is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League fixtures this term, versus AI, fans and a range of special visitors.
For week 12, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan.
The singer's new record, the new release, is available on the weekend.
Soccer and Parenting Experiences
Olly is a talented soccer player as well as a accomplished artist and has been a star of multiple charity football games down the years - but he is not intending a serious return as a player.
"{I actually played in a benefit match the other night for a mate of mine," he said. "The team was losing 3-1 when I came off in the second half, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you will!
"I continue to love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it still hasn't fully recovered. I hope I could play more but the uncertainty of the sport means it's too dangerous for me in my career to do it properly again.
"Additionally I am forty-one now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my daughter or son chooses to play instead."
The singer and his wife his partner have two children, their daughter and their son, and he is prepared to emulate his dad by becoming their coach.
"I will not push football on our kids but I've already told my wife that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will likely be coaching their Saturday football team," he added.
"I observed my nephews play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously was involved with a football club for a while too.
"My dad coached with us when I was a child, which is probably where I inherited it. He managed our team for several seasons and had great fun with it. That could be the next step for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
Premier League Predictions
Weekend, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
The Blues may have to wait a bit longer for their star's comeback from fitness issues but their attack is already stronger with Joao Pedro and Liam Delap both returned to fitness.
In my opinion this fixture will be fairly tight, though. Burnley are disciplined and their sole at Turf Moor defeats so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.
It smells of a one-all draw to me, but I am actually going to choose Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third Premier League win in a row.
Sutton's forecast: 1-2
The singer's prediction: The Blues will be superior. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Cherries have lost their past two matches - although both of them were away - but they got thoroughly beaten by Villa last time out which surprised me.
On the other hand, West Ham secured back-to-back victories before the hiatus and, although both of those fixtures were at their stadium, they do look strong again.
West Ham's sole away win this campaign came at Forest in the summer, when West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo was still Forest coach.
So, what exactly do I predict here - can the Hammers continuing their run under their manager, or the home side responding?
I will go with the Cherries, because I think what happened against Aston Villa was a anomaly.
The pundit's prediction: 2-0
Olly's outlook: Bournemouth are doing well but the visitors have picked up under their boss. 2-2
The algorithm's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Brentford were seen as one of the favourites for relegation before the season started, but they have surprised a several people under Keith Andrews and are in fine fettle with three in their last four matches.
A family member told me to select Brentford forward Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer team a few weeks back and, guess what, I ignored the advice.
Thiago will likely find the net again on Saturday but I am still not going to select him or support Brentford at Amex Stadium.
They have not had great fortune on the road this term, and the Seagulls are always strong at their stadium. Brentford will try to attack on the break but I feel Fabian Hurzeler's side carry much more of a danger.
The analyst's forecast: 2-1
Olly's prediction: This could be a match where you think there is going to be a many goals but it actually turns out to be rather tight. 1-1
AI's outcome: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a huge fixture for the Cottagers, who have lost five of their last six matches.
They have have lots of talent in their team but it still seems like they could be sucked into a drop zone battle.
As for the Black Cats, indeed they are the surprise package of the Premier League season so far.
The away side's display in the 2-2 draw with Arsenal last time out was superb. We've not witnessed anyone else disrupt the North London side like that this season, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.
The logical choice would be to back the Black Cats here, because they are clearly able of roughing the hosts up too and, the previous occasion they were in this part of London, they beat Chelsea at the end of October.
However I am not do that. Rather, I truly need to carry on going against the away team with my forecasts. I am taking a lot of responsibility for their positive results because they evidently enjoy to defy my predictions.
Looking at Fulham's home form, the only team they have lost to is Arsenal. Marco Silva's team will be extremely eager for a good result, so I am going to predict they will secure three points.
The expert's forecast: 1-0
The guest's choice: I know the visitors are doing well and also that Fulham are on a bad run... but Fulham have nonetheless been decent at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
AI's outlook: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
This is a hard fixture to call. Liverpool have lost seven of their last ten games in all competitions, but could they be among the sides who profit from the {international break|
