Comedian and author David Walliams parted ways with publishing house.
Acclaimed young adult author and comedian David Walliams is no longer with his publisher HarperCollins UK, as confirmed by the firm.
A representative for the firm stated: "Following a thorough review, and under the leadership of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing additional books by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the conclusion was taken subsequent to an investigation into reports of inappropriate behaviour involving female individuals.
The firm has not elaborated on the motivations for this action, noting: "It is not our policy to discuss private personnel issues."
