In a unexpected partnership that breaks conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Revealed

According to the authorized release, "A mysterious meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where hints of banned rituals and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The narrative presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden sect.

The mission centers on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Transformations

The teaser highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Rewards and Extra Features

Players who accomplish the mission will acquire an exclusive katana alongside multiple objects concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
